Refund policy
Last updated Aug 20, 2026
Two separate things govern getting your money back: a statutory right of withdrawal that we cannot alter, and this policy, which only ever adds to it.
Your statutory right comes first
As a consumer you may withdraw from a paid plan within fourteen days of concluding the contract, without giving a reason, and be reimbursed in full within fourteen days of telling us. That right is granted by law, not by us. It cannot be shortened, made conditional, or waived by anything on this page.
The formal instruction and the model withdrawal form are at /withdrawal. Nothing in this policy limits them.
What we add to it
Where the law would let us bill you for the part of the service already used before you withdrew, we waive that in full. You are reimbursed the whole payment even if you have generated documents or spent AI credits.
We do not require the model form, a reason, or a survey. An email to support@offercompass.app is enough, and we process it on the same working day we receive it.
After the fourteen days
The statutory right has then expired and a refund is at our discretion. Cancel from your billing page and you keep access until the end of the period you have paid for; you will not be charged again.
Statutory rights in respect of defects are unaffected by that expiry. If the service does not do what it is supposed to do, your rights under §§ 327 ff. BGB continue to apply regardless of when you noticed.
Cancelling
Two clicks from your billing page. If you cannot sign in, use the cancellation form at /cancel, which requires no account and is the route §312k BGB provides for. You will receive written confirmation of the cancellation, its content, the time we received it and the date the contract ends.
Your documents remain in your account after you cancel and you can export them at any time. Cancelling does not delete them.
